I swear if I could have seen my heart last night when I looked at my phone … this is what it would have looked like. It sure felt this way. This blog is supposed to be to make people smile and I’ve posted Whitney and I have a few of her songs on playlist … but a few does not cover just how much I loved her. She was my morning coffee, she was the start to my day every day. When I needed to dance away the pain I turned her on. When I needed to prepare for anything (sports, big event, anything) I turned her on. She was more than just a woman with a beautiful voice to me. For every big and small event in my life she was there some how some way. I loved and respected her for the talent that she was … but most of all for the human being she is. Nothing about her was perfect and I think that’s what made me love her more. I truly felt her pain to strive to meet others expectations. I hope and pray people will remember her for her greatness rather than for her shortcomings. No one is perfect but I am happy she finally gets to rest in the arms of our Father free of all the scrutiny. Thank you Whitney for being the soundtrack to my life. You were loved …
